My condolences to Darryn's family....
My name is Mark Stevens, I was a good friend of Darryn's when we were children. We grew up together in Ste. Eustache and Darryn lived with his grandmother near me, on Preising Street. He used to call her Nana.
It is by chance that I found Darryn's obituary and it saddens me that he has now passed on. I remember him quite fondly. The last time I saw Darryn was on his wedding day in Toronto. It was great to be there, he and Charlene made me feel like some sort of VIP that night!
I have many memories of Darryn, my friendship with Darryn helped shape my days and also who I became, later on in life.
I am not sure why we lost touch. It is most probably my fault.
My heart goes out to you and he is now once again, in the forefront of my mind. I am curious to know more about Darryn's life and if there is a person who is interested in knowing more about the Darryn I knew as a child, and later on as a teenager, feel free to contact me.
