Passed away peacefully on Friday, January 20, 2023 with his loving wife and all his children by his side. Beloved husband of Betty for 51 years. Cherished father of Christopher, Philip (Ruth), Michael (Michelle), David (Lisa), Moyra (Greg), the late Richard, Andrea (Robert) and Matthew (Christine). Loving grandpa of 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Survived by sister Peggy Godfrey as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family from Canada, Jamaica and around the world. Predeceased by parents Harold and Moyra daCosta, sister Terry Spence and brother Carroll daCosta. Visitors are welcome to John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street, on Monday, January 23, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A Celebration of Stuart’s life will be held at Hillside Church, 138 Thompson Road, on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place. If desired, memorial donations made to Hillside Church or the Salvation Army London Citadel Corps would be greatly appreciated.
