I am so sorry Rob and Doug for your loss. I know the feeling, having experienced my own mom's early passing back in October of 2018.
Rob I can most-definately remember both your mom and mine taking turns driving us to John Dearness during our preschool years. That plus attending some of the birthdays she would have helped to arrange when we were little--playing Chinese Checkers and Pin the Tail on the Donkey, watching Star Wars--you name it.
Your mom was a great person overall as I can recall. In fact I was not even aware until now your father had passed previously as I fondly remember him as well--especially as a librarian at Oakridge S.S.
You therefore have my full condolences for both your parents!
My deepest condolences to the family. I have missed my dear friend since the beginning of the pandemic but we were still in regular contact by phone until recently. I will truly miss our wonderful trips together. Rest in peace dear friend.
