My deepest condolences and support, Judy, Natalie, Shannon & David. Bob was taken far too soon; he didn't get to enjoy the retirement he so richly deserved. He was always very humble, never wanting acknowledgement or attention even though he was quite accomplished at many things such as music, cooking and photography. Bob had a way of making you feel so welcome, always cheerful and engaging, I will truly miss our conversations about everything from lab medicine to music.
He was the bravest person I know, never once complaining about his physical health, right to the end. It is comforting to know that he is no longer suffering. You will be forever in our hearts.
