Peacefully on October 2, 2022, in her 86th year. Loving wife of Giacinto for 66 years. Beloved mother of Giuseppina “Josie” (Valentino), Caterina, and Gabriele. Proud nonna of Tina, Igino, Carmine, Sofia, Sabrina, Jordan, and Brianna. Bis nonna of Damiano and Gianna. Loving sister of Angela. Maria now joins her brothers in Heaven. She will be deeply missed by family and friends in Italy and Canada. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, from 4:00pm – 7:00pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church, 345 Lyle Street, on Thursday, October 6, 2022, at 11:00am. Entombment in St. Peter’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to Parkinson’s Society would be appreciated.
