Murphy, Joseph Clarense Jerome
Passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on Sunday, July 3, 2022, in his 90th year. Beloved husband of Arlene for over 60 years. Cherished father of Shannon (Deborah), Mona and Christopher (Bonnie). Loving grandfather of Meaghan (Mark), Ryan (Dyami) and Carlin and great-grandfather of Zoe, Maeve and Violet. Predeceased by parents Clarence and Agatha Murphy and sisters Carmel and Josephine. Joe will also be missed by his extended family. Joe was a Principal with the Thames Valley District School Board and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Cremation has taken place. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Peter’s Cathedral Basilica, 196 Dufferin Avenue, on Monday, July 11, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. Private family inurnment to follow. If desired, memorial donations made to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
