Rosa Ciriello, dear wife of the late Antonio Ciriello, passed peacefully at home on Friday, June 24, 2022, in her 100th year. Dear Mother of the late Joseph Ciriello, John Ciriello and his wife Patti, the late Luciana (Gordon) and her husband Bill, Lucrezia (D’Ippolito), and Cosma Ciriello. Dear grandmother of Christopher, Robert, and Monica Ciriello, Anne-Marie, Anthony (predeceased) and Johnathan Gordon, Peter, Antonio and Savaria D’Ippolito, Maria (Sanfilippo) and Tony Ciriello, and Anthony, Rose (Crossley), Cindy and Stephanie Ciriello. Dear great-grandmother to Alexander, Anthony Jr., Aria, Ciana, Jaxon, Jessica, Michael, Nicholas and Vincent, and dear great-great grandmother to Maso and Raya.
Predeceased by her parents Giovanni and Lucrezia Valerio. Dear sister of the late Frank and Gaetano, Giuseppe and his wife Santa, Lucia (Cavaliere) and the late Erman, Tina (Contursi) and her husband Angelo, Santina (Ruggiero) and the late Domenico, the late Tony and Victor, Carmela (Cimmarusti) and her husband Lino, and Maria (Magistrale) and her husband Tony.
Rosa will be sadly missed by all her family, and many nieces, nephews and friends in Canada and Italy. Visitors will be received at the Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, London, on Tuesday from 3:00-5:00 pm, with prayers at 4:45 pm.
Funeral Mass will be held at St. Peter Basilica, 196 Dufferin Avenue on Wednesday morning at 10:00 am. Entombment in the Holy Family Mausoleum at 11:15 am at St. Peter Cemetery following the Church service.
