Leigh, Mary(nee Pensa)

On June 5, 2022 at Parkwood Palliative, Mary Angela (Pensa) Leigh passed away in her 99th year. Predeceased by husband Robert, son David, parents Peter and Anetta, brother Anthony and granddaughter Kendra. Mary will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Candice Richardson (Keith), Kaaren Smyth (Ian), Judi Sofalvi (Les) and Kathryn Poole (Jeff). Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandsons. We would like to thank Dr Cathy Faulds and the palliative team for their efforts in making Mom comfortable during her final days. Friends and relatives will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street, on Thursday, June 9, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. George Church, 1164 Commissioners Road, on Friday, June 10, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation with private entombment in Holy Family Mausoleum -St. Peter’s Cemetery at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to CNIB or Alzheimer Society.
