Cheryl Anderson

Obituary of Cheryl Elaine Anderson

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Cheryl Elaine Anderson, formerly of Byron, in her 74th year.  Cheryl was the loving mother of Dennis Norton (Liza) and Dana Anderson, and doting grandmother to Makiya, Chase, and Olivia.

A resident of London since her teens, Cheryl worked for 25 years at Northern Telecom before becoming a Personal Support Worker at Meadow Park Long Term Care Center.  Her strong work ethic, dedication to her family, and willingness to help others helped define her character.  Cheryl was known for her distinctive laugh, love of dancing, baseball, golf, and nights out with the “Northern Girls”.  She especially enjoyed “Pint Night” with her family and friends.  Cheryl was always quick to see the silver lining in situations.   She will be greatly missed.

Cheryl was predeceased by her parents Bruce (2011) and Olive (2010) Reed, sister Jeanette Maynard (2012) (Budd 2013) and survived by siblings Wayne (Rita 2021), Robert (Mary), Don (Debbie), John (Larissa), Gary (Cindy), Roger, Kelly (Shannon), and Joanne Siewert (Scott).  She will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, and her dear friend Joan. A Special thank you to the staff at Mount Hope Centre for Long Term Care and Nurses Lena and Mindy for the exceptional care Cheryl received for the past 5 years.

Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, from 12:00pm to 1:00pm (1/2 hour increments).  Funeral Service to follow in the chapel at 1:00pm.
