Obituary of Linda June McKnight
McKnight, Linda June (nee McNorgan)
With courage, dignity, and grace surrounded by her loving family on Monday, November 29th, 2021 Linda completed her earthly journey at the tender age of 57. Her loving parents, Carl (1993) and Lillian (1996), and her big brother Steve (2019) a.k.a. Teddy Bear as she affectionately called him, joyfully welcomed their beautiful angel into her heavenly home. Darling wife and best friend of Roger McKnight for 22 years. Unmeasurably devoted and most loving Mama of her precious children Shannon Mero (Adam Szymanski), Nicole Mero and Chad “Nathaniel” Cossette (Charly Lafleur). Adoring grandma of Averie and Parker. Lovingly nicknamed Sass by her brothers, Linda enjoyed all the benefits of being the baby sister of Bob (Debbie), Rick (Donna) and Dave (Cathy). She shared a special bond with her older sisters, Joanne Armstrong (Marshall) and Janice (Margaret Cheney) who were also her best friends. Much loved aunt of Michael (Jennifer), Jeffrey (Rebekah), Jennifer Almond (Mike); Christopher (Rebecca Lubos), Erin, Heather (Kristian Dart), Carolyn Romaine (Jas); Sarah, Jonathan; Jed, Jeremy, Josh Winter and her many great nieces and nephews. Cherished niece of Lorraine Menard. Linda will be lovingly remembered with deep affection by her lifelong friend Dave Mero, the McKnight and Mero families and her many cousins. Linda radiated love wherever she went, touching the hearts of all who knew her. Linda’s unwavering faith throughout her life will always be a great source of hope, comfort and inspiration for all of her family.
