Obituary of David Alexander Watt
With heavy hearts, we are saddened to share the news of the loss of our dear husband, dad, and friend, Dave. He entered eternal life on the afternoon of Friday, October 15, 2021, at University Hospital in London. Survived by his loving wife and best friend Louise (Chechak) and their precious daughters Kim and Jenny (James). Proud grandpa of his granddaughter due any day. Predeceased by his parents, Emma and David, and some dear friends. We are comforted to know Dave is in good company with God. He was a man of few words, but the words he did offer were filled with love and humour. He always ensured his 3 girls were taken care of. Dave lived many brave years with illness, and he fought to the very end. Much gratitude is sent to the health care workers who cared for Dave over the years, including the Emergency Room team at University Hospital who were with him in his last moments of life. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada in honour of Dave. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street on Sunday, October 24, 2021, from 4:00-4:30pm, 4:30-5:00pm, 5:00-5:30pm, 5:30-6:00pm, 6:00-6:30pm and 6:30-7:00pm.
