Russo, Giacoma "Mimma"

Giacoma Giuseppa "Mimma" Russo (Barberi) went to meet our Lord on Sunday, October 3, 2021 in her 87th year.  Beloved wife of the late Pietro Russo (2009).  Cherished mother of Peter and his wife Candi.  Precious grandmother "Nonna" of Jessi (Dylan), Madison (Ian) and Tyson.  Survived by her siblings Sebastiano "Sam" Barberi and his wife Caterina, Concetta and her husband Sandro Simonelli and Salvatore Barberi.  Predeceased by her parents Innocenzo and Michela, her sister Calogera "Lina" and her husband Emile Vandaele, her sister-in-law Maria DiVerde-Barberi and Pietro's 7 brothers and 2 sisters.  Special aunt to Enzo and Michelle Barberi and many nieces and nephews in Belgium and the United States.  Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Wednesday, October 6th from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock.  (1/2 hour increments).  Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary's Church, 345 Lyle Street, on Thursday morning, October 7th at 11 o'clock.  Registration is required.  Please email donohue@donohuefuneralhome.ca with your name, phone number and time preference for visiting and/or whether you will be attending the Funeral Mass.  Private entombment in Holy Family Mausoleum, St. Peter's Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Mary's Church Restoration Fund or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
