Passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 5, 2021 in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late Rocco Colafranceschi (2006). Loving mother of the late Enrico (2004), late Angelo (2020) (Helen), Sonia Bulhoes (Robert) and David. Beloved Nonna of Sara, Alicia, Erik, Nicholas, and Krista and bisnonna of Gunner and Asher. Dear sister of the late Lucio (2013) (Jo), Fernando, Antonio, Andreozzi and her sister Anna Lombardi in Italy. Sister-in-law of Rosina (Pasquale), Venchenza (Enio), Domenic and family, Guido (Dec), Christina, Robert (Elenea) and Elena (Guido) and Eva. Maria is survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family in Canada and Italy. A special thank-you is extended to the staff at Chartwell Long Term Care for their compassion and care. Visitors are welcome to John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street, on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 from 2 to 4 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Peters Cathedral Basilica, 196 Dufferin Avenue, on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at 10 o’clock. Entombment to follow at St. Peters Cemetery. Due to COVID 19 restrictions, a limited number of people are able to attend each visitation period and the Funeral Mass.
