Heffron, William “Bill” Patrick
1945 – 2021
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Monday, August 30, 2021 at the age of 76. Dearly loved husband of Donna. Loving father of Kerri Heffron (Chuck Dickey) and Darlene Willis (Sean), step-father to Lisa Nixon (Steve), Paula Letts and Deborah Falcao. Cherished Poppa of Steven, Michael, Quinton, Benjamin, Andrew, Abby, Max, Thomas, Jovan, Jacob, Zachary and Samantha. Bill will be fondly remembered by his brothers Joseph (Marg), Thomas (Jean) and sisters Marg Anderson (Jim) and Mary Heffron. Brother-in-law to Brenda Lampitt, Lynne Riedl (the late Frank), Kathy Heximer (Jeff) and the late Judy McLachlan, the late Dieter Wolle. Predeceased by his beloved parents Gerald Heffron and Marie Cronin and brothers Edward and Arthur Heffron. Survived by his Uncle Tom Cronin (Cheryl), Aunts Marg LeSouder and Jo Landon as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family. Bill was a proud and loyal member of the International Union of Operating Engineers (I.U.O.E) Local 793 for 50 years. Bill and his family gratefully acknowledge his many physicians, caregivers, nurses, PSW’s over the past five years. A special thank-you is extended to Dr.M.Viguera, Dr.D.Fortin, Dr.Qiabi, Dr.S.Malik and the exceptional staff of C5-Thoracics at LHSC – Victoria Campus. Cremation has taken place. Visitors are welcome to Holy Family Parish, 777 Valetta Street, London, on Saturday, September 4, 2021 from 9 to 10 am. Funeral Mass to follow at 10 am. Inurnment to follow at a later date. Due to COVID 19 restrictions, a limited number of people are able to attend. Those who wish to attend the visitation and/or Funeral Mass must register by e-mailing donohue@donohuefuneralhome.ca with the first/last name and telephone number of all those attending.
