Masse, Gregory Harley
Passed away after a full life on Friday, August 6, 2021 in his 61st year. Greg had many friendships and remarkable experiences. Cherished son to Harley and Lynn Masse, amazing brother to Vicki (Jeff), Pam (Bob) and Michael (Susan) and special uncle to Abby, Maggie, Brett, Leah, Holly and Trinity. He will be dearly missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Greg was a graduate of Western University Ivey Business School to which he remained actively involved. He enjoyed a successful career in marketing, working with several multinational Consumer Package Goods companies. His passion for marketing and attention to the creative detail, led him to strike out on his own, building two successful marketing communication companies as the President and Founder of Strateco Communications and White Wing Consulting Group. A talented writer, Greg travelled the globe doing research for his book “And Then Came Peace” a deeply inspiring novel about the connective thread woven between all religions; his hope to enlighten and bring humanity closer together. An avid sailor, Greg loved spending his summers hosting family and friends on his pride and joy sailboat “Grandfathers Song”, cruising around his favorite spots on Lake Ontario, Toronto and the Thousand Islands and more recently, Bayfield Lake Huron and Killarney in the North Channel. In the winters he loved to ski but was often drawn to the Florida sunshine where his many friends in Tampa kept him busy with numerous adventures. A gifted and generous person, he was very involved in community outreach and service.
Donations in Greg’s memory may be made to Unity Project for Relief of Homelessness in London or Toronto SickKids Hospital Foundation.
A private family service will be held on August 12, 2021, but he will remain with us always in our hearts, our family stories and on the water.
