Elizabeth was born in Fintona, in county Tyrone, Northern Ireland May 4th 1931.  She met her husband Tim while he toured her country many years ago, traveling to Canada to become his wife. She left everything and everyone she had known to start a new life in Canada with Tim. It couldn’t have been easy to start from scratch in a new country but she was determined to make it work. Elizabeth or Betty to everyone who knew her was always the life of the party and enjoyed entertaining friends and family for many many years in her home on Rockingham Court.

For over 20 years Betty and Tim spent Winters in Florida where both old friendships were renewed and new friendships were made.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Elizabeth are asked to consider the Alzheimer Society of Canada.  Due to COVID restrictions service and internment will be a private family gathering.
