With great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved wife and mother Monday, May 31, 2021 in her 70th year.
Danica Pozeg was born on November 1, 1951 in the village of Zakanje, Croatia to parents Zvonko and Sofia Kozar. She leaves to mourn her loving husband Joseph, with whom she shared 52 wonderful years of marriage and her beloved children Danny and John, both of whom were her greatest source of pride. There was nothing she wouldn't do for them or the entire extended family at any time. She will be dearly missed her brother, nephews, nieces, Kumovi, by the entire Croatian community of London and friends in both Canada and Croatia. Her many friends will miss her warm heart and radiance that will forever be remembered.
Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Monday, June 7th from 2-4 and 7-9 o’clock. Due to Covid-19 restrictions numbers are limited and registration is required. Please call Donohue’s between 9am and 5pm to register for a visitation spot. Masks are mandatory.
A private Funeral Mass will be held at St. Leopold Mandic Croation Catholic Church with entombment to follow in Holy Family Mausoleum, St. Peter’s Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Lupus Canada.
