Obituary of Henrica Cornelia Kemps

Henrica (Henrietta) Kemps, of London, Ontario passed away on May 4, 2021 in her 92nd year.  She was the beloved wife of the late Hendricus (Harry) Kemps (May 18, 2009) and dearly loved by her children, Adrian (Cathy), Patricia Warren (Victor), Michael (Karen), Paul (Debbie) and Jacqueline Trap (Barry).  She was cherished by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and her only surviving sibling, Cornelia Heuvelmans of Metcalfe, Ontario.  Pre-deceased by her infant great-grandson, Carter Cruden (March 10, 2010).

Henrietta immigrated to Canada in 1953 from The Netherlands to meet up with her soon-to-be husband whom she had known since she was a teenager. 

Over the years, she has knit and crocheted hundreds of baby items, hats, blankets, twiddle muffs and socks for charity.  It was her fondest pastime. 

Cremation has taken place and a private ceremony will be held at a later date.
