Obituary of Norman Francis Boyle

Peacefully at LHSC - University Hospital on March 29, 2021, Norman Francis Boyle at the age of 98. Beloved husband of the late Doreen (nee Walters). Loving father of Barbara (Norm) Smith, Margaret (Robert) Barry and Robert (Sharon) Boyle. Proud grandfather of Stephanie (Mario) Schembri, Heather (Craig) Murrell, Andrea (Gord) Ripley, Steven (Anni) Barry, Caitlin, Ryan and Sarah Boyle and great grandfather (GG) to Andrew, Dylan, Ben, Ava, Ella, Callie, Adam, Kate and Nico. Predeceased by his son William, brother Harry and sister Rita Turner. He will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Born in St. Augustine (Ontario) and proud of his Huron County roots, Norman went on to serve his country overseas in the air force during WW2. After the war, he pursued a career in education, teaching in both Goderich and Kitchener. Throughout his life, he was known for his incredible memory, wit and wonderful sense of humour.

Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family Parish, 777 Valetta Street, on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at 10 o’clock. Interment in St. Augustine Cemetery at a later date. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a limited number of people are able to attend the Funeral Mass.
