I worked with Beth for several years in the 1980s when she was my supervisor at the London Cross Cultural Learner Center. I remember Beth as a beautiful woman with a beautiful spirit who worked tirelessly for our refugee community with respect, compassion, and love. As a supervisor, she led by example, challenged us when necessary, and was passionate about making this world a better place for all. I don’t remember ever seeing her saunter, but always sprinting from task to task doing God’s work. I admired Beth’s commitment to her faith, which she nurtured daily, and I believe that she is now enjoying the comfort of God’s loving embrace.
