I was trying to think of a moment that stood out in our family get togethers. Instead I have this quiet, easy and joking manner that was Colin. Everything delivered with a killer grin. I’ve known Colin for 10 years. I remember when I first met him he was always the guy with the big smile and always making everyone feel good around him. He went through some issues in life as we all do but he was always so positive and optimistic. He worked for me for a couple years and I always knew I could trust and rely on him to work hard and do a great job. Even with our crazy hours he always put in his best effort. He also loved his daughter Kinslee so much. He never stopped talking about her and had pictures of her all over our house.. And I know he had the same feelings towards his parents and kin as well. We had our differences during our friendship over the past 10 years as friends do. But he was always in my heart and I cared about him as I would my family. He is dearly missed.

I worked with Colin at GLLC for 6years (or so) & I remember one Friday after work we had just got paid & went to the Oar house for beers & they had a special of stake & fries for $20 so we had a great time drinking a few beers & a great dinner & we made plans to go pick up some more tall boys & go have them at Colin’s place. Once we arrived We started to watch a movie upstairs called “True Romance” great movie as we talked about how cool it was at work earlier together. I remember Colin’s Dad arrived home and asked us what we were up to & he said how did work go for you guys this last week? I told him you’re looking at 2 of Great Lakes Lawn Cares Best. We had really high sales each that past week. He said “That’s great to hear” We then finished watching the movie & then hung out downstairs in the basement just shooting the breeze & drinking more beer & then after a few more hours it was getting late. Colin suggested we take his doggy “Killer” for a walk behind the house where there were fantastic trails of giant mansions of where midway trails were. We went on a extended hike at 12 midnight or so & im sure Killer loved it. After we arrived back at the house it was 1:00am already (or so) & he offered me to crash on the couch downstairs. I did appreciate it as it saved me a costly cab ride home & the inconvenience of getting my Jeep the next morning. It was a great night I had and my best memory of Colin. We all will miss you Colin & may the passing into the hereafter be a great chapter in your existence. I miss you my friend. Johnny
