Obituary of Virginia Marie Sloan

Sloan, Virginia M. Virginia passed away at LHSC Victoria Hospital on January 19, 2021, at the age of 83. She was the dear wife of the late George Sloan; mother of Chuck, Mary Jo, and Liz; mother-in-law of Wayne and Werner. Beloved grandmother of Pea and Jaclyn. Dear sister of Charlotte Traher (Bob) and sister in law of Fred Hunter. Predeceased by her sisters Marianne Merrifield (John), Beverly Hunter and Sheila McNamara (Gerrard). Virginia will also be dearly missed by her friends Joy and Margo and her bridge buddies Bev, Diana and Val. Thanks to the LHSC nurses, staff and volunteers, particularly in chemotherapy (Dr. Potvin), radiation (Dr. Perera), imagining, thoracic, emergency and palliative care (Dr. Tsui)(Dr. Preti) departments and the LHIN. A private Funeral Service will be held with inurnment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Donations to Mission Services of London or London Regional Cancer Program c/o LHSF.ca would be appreciated. (John T.
