Obituary of Patrick Joseph Cowan

Cowan, Patrick With his family by his side at Parkwood Institute on Monday, January 11, 2021 Patrick Cowan in his 95th year. Beloved husband of 68 years of the late Ruth Cowan (January 2020). Loving father of Terri (late John) MacLeod, Mark (Pippa) Cowan, Michael Cowan and David (Jen) Cowan. Proud grandfather to Kelly, Jennifer, Heather, Nickie, Heather and Emily, and great-grandfather to Dustin, Tyler, Sophie, Jackson and Mark. Predeceased by his siblings Michael (1987) and Angela (2015). Pat was a 45 year employee of the Canadian Pacific Railway. A warm thank you to the amazing staff in the A5 East treatment unit at Parkwood for your excellent care of our father during the past 2 weeks. Our deep and heartfelt gratitude to the entire staff at the Mount Hope Centre for Long Term Care, especially the hard working and dedicated caregivers on the 4th floor of Marian Villa for your very patient and compassionate care of Dad over the past three and a half years. A private Funeral Mass at St. Michael’s Church with interment in St. Peter’s Cemetery was held.
