Wyatt Stinson

Obituary of Wyatt Anthony Stinson

Stinson, Wyatt Unexpectedly at LHSC - University Hospital on January 3, 2021, Wyatt Stinson at the age of 62. Husband and best friend to Janet (Read). Proud and devoted dad to Allie. Loving son of Edna Stinson and the late Doug Stinson. Survived by his siblings Wendy (Jim) McLean, Wayne (Christine) and Warren Stinson. Brother-in-law to Cathy and Bill Graham, Sue and Frank McMahon, Chris and Scott Brown, Derek and Kendra Read, and Gayle and Peter Brooks. Uncle to Robin, Ryan, Cara (Peter), Kelly (Ryan), Kate, Owen, Scottie, Hailey (Jake), Jenny, Ryan and Brandy and great uncle to Sammy, Keagan, Tobias and Mason. Wyatt was very well loved and appreciated by all of his nieces and nephews. He could always be counted on to fix any piece of equipment or provide an endless supply of golf balls. Wyatt always brought the best home baked apple pies and squares to family get togethers. But most of all he will be remembered for his kind and generous spirit and unconditional love for his family. Wyatt was connected to so many through his work as a firefighter (LFD), a baseball player (London Majors), a hockey player and a golfer. He nurtured many deep friendships all along the way from highschool, to his dedicated morning golf partners through to his Thursday afternoon golf buddies. Wyatt's reach was far and wide. Wyatt would play golf every morning possible and then meet Janet and sometimes Allie to play another round. He was passionate about golf, but his greatest love was for Janet and Allie. He will be greatly missed. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 9th, 2021 at 1:00 o'clock. In lieu of flowers, donations to the CNIB would be greatly appreciated.
