Rest in sweetest of peace, Tim. I enjoyed our talks about when you worked for Via Rail and your trips to Florida. You once lived in my apartment building and then you came in to our Nursing Home. He talked a lot about his Family with pride. I will make sure Elizabeth is ok. I talk to her and have a small visit with her everyday to make sure she is eating and comfortable. You will be greatly missed.

Thanks to Barb we were able find some family photos of Tim, I'm sure we have more recent ones but it's just a matter of time before we find them.

We have so many loving memories, especially dancing with uncle Tim at family gatherings. His generous gift of his pool table, which now sits in our basement is open for a game any time. We will always cherish the memories he gave us. Rest in peace uncle Tim love Chris and Jessica Hooper.

Rest in Peace Grandpa Tim. I am Blessed to have had a grandfather who loved as you did. I will never forget all the baseball practices you took me to and all the encouragement you gave me to find a job I could be as passionate about as you were with Trains. Thank you Grandpa from the bottom of my heart. See you on the other side Tiger.

Our deepest sympathies from the Lazure Family (Mariette's adoptive family) to Tim's family, and those closest to him. The photos are from our eldest daughter's wedding reception back in 2011.
We knew Tim from St. Justin's Parish, but we knew him best as the birth grandfather of our daughter Mariette (Cathy's gift to us in 2016). As God gifted us with Mariette it was so special that it was at Church that we met her adoptive grandparents. Mariette was only 3 at the time, it was soon after they started going to St. Justin's due to the closure of Holy Rosary.
Tim was a man who loved life!. Our family - Rob, Nicole, Mariette & I (Michelle) - met Tim in his retirement years. He was always active, he didn't let Betty's sedentary life hold him back, he was the happy wanderer! It was like he was making up for all the outdoor time he missed during the restrictions of being in a train for years! Tim was a person who would prefer to walk everywhere, tell a great and lengthy story, and no one was ever a stranger. Tim lived his vocation of marriage (in sickness and in health), he was a man with a big, generous and forgiving heart who gave to others without expectation. Tim and Betty spent many Sundays after mass visiting with our family at Tim Horton's. A child can never have too much love and Betty & Tim loved our daughter Mariette. Tim volunteered at our parish's St. Vincent de Paul for years, loved his Monday night Euchre group and when we had our parish volunteer appreciation night he danced up a storm. We saw him for years at the 11am mass but after Betty's illness he preferred the 5 pm mass.
Tim has been a good and faithful servant of God, may he enjoy his heavenly rest.

Rest in Peace Uncle Tim. I will never forget bumping into you outside the Eaton Centre on a sunny summer Saturday as you were making your way to the train to go home. I will miss hearing about your adventures!

Memories of Uncle Tim
From being up to bat and a tip of his hat,
swimming in his "ool" to keep us cool (remembering the sign on the gate with no "p"),
a beautiful head of hair and a heart full of care,
with a happy golf swing and a song to sing,
helping us to our train seats and giving first class to all he meet,
reminding us to sing, dance, play, and pray, and take a walk and talk every day.
Happy memories and hugs to all!
Love, Nicole, Doug, Nicholas, and Brennan

My deepest sympathy to the family. I am a staff member at the Hamilton Road Seniors Centre and have great memories of Tim. A member of our choir for many years Tim loved to sing and he was always the first person on the dance floor at our special events. He will be missed by the many friends he had made over the years at the Centre. RIP Tim.
Keeping you in my thoughts,
Diane Bussey
