Obituary of Joso Burcul

Burčul, Joso Passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 19, 2020 in his 78th year. Beloved husband of Marija Burčul (nee: Čakarun). Cherished father of Goran (Tatjana), Elvis (Diane), and Joe (Christa). Proud and loving "Dide" grandfather of Ivana, Zvonimir, Viktorija, Christian, Maija, Matthew, Vivian, Madeleine, Ava, and Lydia, who were the light of his life. Survived by sister Milka Burčul in Croatia. Predeceased by parents Pere and Grgica Burčul and sisters Zorka Kovač and Stoja Gulan and brother Mićo Burčul. Joso is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends around the world. Visitors are welcome to John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street, on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Prayers at 7:30pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Leopold Mandic Church, 2889 Westminster Drive, on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 at 10am. Interment to follow at St. Peters Cemetery. Due to COVID -19 restrictions as per the Bereavement Authority of Ontario a limited number of people are able to attend each visitation and service.
