Caleb, Levi and family - We are so grateful to have had Carmell as our next door neighbour for the past 10 years. We really hit the jack pot!! She was such a great person, caring, considerate and oh how she made us laugh. Her strength was unwavering and she never complained. We will miss her terribly. She was loved.

We extend sincere condolences to all of Carmell's extended families. As a teenage boy growing up in Watford, I candled eggs and did various jobs for many years for Carmell's dad Mac and her uncle Ted when they owned Tait Produce. One of those 'various jobs' was helping to build the house on Warwick St. where all the Tait children grew up. Joe & Ionne(nee Douglas) Woodall..Lambeth,ON.

Caleb, I am so sorry for your loss and am so glad you were able to be with your mom. I remember very well your compassion to one of your classmates, David, when he lost his father. May you receive the same support you so kindly gave. Sending love and sympathy, Betsy Reilly (Grzyb) from St. George's

I had the honour of meeting your beautiful mom on our trip to South Africa. I knew from the moment I met her at Toronto airport that she was a very special lady. Caleb and Levi your mom bragged about the two of you the entire trip. She was so proud of you both. I am sending hugs and my deepest condolences to you two boys and the rest of Carmell’s family and friends. The world lost a very special, loving, kind hearted funny lady but you will never be forgotten my friend. Thank you Carm for all the memories and laughter. You are truly going to be missed. Love you my friend xo

Even when she was not feeling the best. She would smile...truly look at you and ask how you are doing. One of the most caring people I've ever met. My first time meeting Carmell was after I starting working at PH. I was taking every shift I could. I was always going way over in hours. She never got angry and worked it out. Then on I thought she was really cool.

Although I didn’t know Carnell personally, I am a good friend of her niece Bernie, and my heart goes out to all of Carnell’s family and loved ones during this very sad time. Through Bernie I know how loved Carnell was by all who knew and loved her. Sincere condolences. May she Rest In Peace.

Still can't believe the news. Caleb, Levi, your Mom was a kind soul who never failed to make me laugh. She was strong, independent and witty. Qualities no doubt that she has passed on to you two. She will be missed.

Caleb, Levi, and The Tait Family, May you know how much your Mom, was loved, and well thought of by her family, friends, and her working Community. Her dry sense of humor, and wit will be a memory to many. She made sure she got her point across, and
enjoyed a good debate. My family had great respect for your Mom.
Your Mom will be missed but never forgotten.
Love Aunt Linda

Dear Caleb, Levi and family. Loved to hear your Mom tell stories and with her dry humour she always made me laugh. We played together as kids, well mostly she chased Maryanne & I around. We will miss her alot but am glad that she is not in pain anymore. May she rest in peace, Jane & Eric von der Recke.
