Joe would faithfully drive to Deck Dentistry in Mitchell every other Tuesday, mostly just to chat but obviously to take down the odd dental order as well. We will miss his smiling face and his huge knowledge of all the dental products. He was one of the best in his field and I can say that honestly because I think I have been dealing with Joe for almost twenty years.
We hope that you take comfort in knowing that he is no longer in pain and I 'm sure he has met up with a golf buddy or two.

Dear Avola Family, my deepest and heart felt condolences for the loss of your son, brother and uncle, Joseph. My heart goes out to you, as I to lost a sibling way too soon and feel your pain. I have known your family for more than 50 years, the first 30 of those years our family's were very close and our parents have continued this relationship to this day. From the days on Galloway Cres., where we first met, to the years in Berkshire Village and the many years beyond, the many holiday seasons we had, the many times our family's were together, these times were for all to enjoy, so many memories, too many to mention. It was over 25 years ago when I left London, eventually the province, slowly losing touch with Joe and your family. Over the last couple of years I started to reconnect with Joe once again, recently moving back to London, hoping to renew the close friendships I once had, unfortunately and with great sadness, I will not be able to continue this with Joseph, what I will have is the many fond memories I hold dear to me, throughout those years that have pasted, these I will cherish and will be ever thankful for, I was blessed to know Joseph and your family, this I thank you for, God Bless, my thoughts are with you...David

Joe was a really good guy and a loyal friend. I'm glad I got the chance to be his friend. Many years have passed but it still feels like yesterday. Golf, hockey, the CCH pit, music, concerts, road trips, dances, Jack Frasers, camping, Mr Fekete's office, proms, the drive in, laughing till it hurts, Christmas, New Years Eve, parties, weekends, weddings, just hanging out, being young and carefree.
