Obituary of Anne Downey Martindale

Martindale, Anne Peacefully at home, with her family by her side, Anne Downey Martindale passed away on Saturday, Nov. 25th after a courageous battle with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis. Beloved wife of Ron for 51 years. Proud mother of Ron Martindale and his wife Shelley and Julie Martindale. Cherished Mama of Drew, Sam, Will, Jessica and Nicole. Dear sister of Bob Moulton (Linda). Dear sister in law of Ted Martindale (Rita). Anne will be fondly remembered by her extended family members, many dear friends and wonderful caregivers. She was most passionate about her family, friends, sports, travel and assisting in the smooth operation of the Sir Isaac Brock Public School Library for over 20 years. Anne's love of life, generosity and vibrant spirit brought much joy and happiness to all who were lucky enough to have known her. At her request, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice or to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation of Canada would be greatly appreciated.
