My heartfelt wishes to the family. Anne Martindale (or Mrs Martindale to me) welcomed me into the Martindale home many years ago as a school-mate of Ron Jr. At a time when my own parents were enduring their struggle of divorce, Mr and Martindale invited me for many dinners and sleep-overs with my best friend Ron and quite simply, made me feel at home. She was a very kind and caring woman and together with her family, helped me through some challenging years. Rest in peace Mrs Martindale.

Anne, we are happy that we have known you for many years. You have lite up our lives on many occasions and you had the ability to tell people what you thought in a way that we know no one else could.
Your knowledge of sport is above and beyond any other sports follower that we know. This included you family members that were active in sports.
You have left Ron for us to enjoy some bad golf and good times. We will be beside him and reminisce with him about you. Our thoughts have been with you for many months and you will be in our thoughts and hearts for a long time.

I am raising a toast to Auntie Anne, sitting on a beach chair, her portable butt as she called it, down by the lake at Lumina as she watched with pride the rest of the crazies water skiing or whatever out in the water. Even though you don't get to see them much any more, old friends are special as are the memories shared all those years. This world will miss you.
