Obituary of Nicola 'Nick' Castrilli

Suddenly on October 10, 2011 at L.H.S.C. University Hospital surrounded by his loving family, Nick Castrilli passed away at the age of 72. Beloved husband of Maria for over 48 years. He was a devoted and beloved father to his children Connie Kotsovos and her husband George, Marco, and Mauro and his wife Sherri. Cherished and idolized Nonno of Thalia, Anthony, Alexa, Nicolas and Alisa. He meant the world to his family and their hearts are broken. Dearly loved brother to Tony and his wife Rosa, Michael and his wife Geraldine, Luciana Caranci and her husband John. Dear brother-in-law to Felice Tamasi and his wife Antonietta, Leny Tamasi and his wife Nina, Frank Tamasi and his wife Maria, and Yolanda Iammorrone and her husband Mario. Fondly remembered and loved by his many nieces and nephews. Will be missed by his extended family and many friends. Predeceased by his parents Ernesto and Antonietta Castrilli. Vistors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 o'clock. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Peter's Cathedral Basilica, N.E. corner of Dufferin Avenue and Richmond Street on Friday morning, October 14, 2011 at 10 o'clock. Entombment in Holy Family Mausoleum at St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Thursday at 8 o'clock. If desired, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
