Barel, Paulus Clemens Joseph M.Arch, O.A.A., R.A.I.C. Peacefully at London Health Sciences Centre - University Hospital in London, Ontario on Wednesday, June 26, 2013. He was born in The Netherlands and came to Canada in 1969. Beloved husband of Jacqueline Barel (Van Gastel) for 48 years. Loving father of Manon Barel and her partner Wally Leonard, Jeroen Barel and his wife Jeanette Tesiorowski and Jacenta Barel and her husband Brent Perekoppi. Devoted grandfather to Anika, Kyle, Alexander and Ethan. Paul is survived by his brothers Dr. Reyer Barel and his wife Connie, Jacques Barel and his wife Ellen, his sisters in Holland Elisabeth and Anthonia, and by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers Kees and Clemens Barel. Visitors will be received at St. George Roman Catholic Church, 1164 Commissioners Road West, London on Friday June 28th from 10 o'clock until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 o'clock. Interment at St. Peter's Cemetery, London. As an expression of sympathy donations to the Alzheimer Outreach Program of McCormick Home would be greatly appreciated.
