I worked with Paul for a short time when he was in Cleveland. While I did not know him well, he will always be remembered by me as one of the kindest, calmest, most competent architects I have met. He was a gentlemen and a gentle man. My condolences to the Barel family. His example of how he treated others and conducted himself is a model for anyone wishing to be respected both personally and professionally.
