Obituary of Brian Dermot Collins

COLLINS, Brian Dermot- Brian Dermot Collins, of London Ontario, formerly of Armagh, Northern Ireland, passed away suddenly on March 25, 2013 surrounded by his family. Brian is survived by his loving and devoted wife Marion and beloved son Ian Brendan (Stephanie). He is brother to Gladys (Frank) of Australia, Helen (Aidan) of Australia, Eamon (Christina) of Ireland and the late Patrick, and the late Arthur. Brother-in-law to Betty, Steven (Natalie), Cyril (Peggy), Sydney (Mary) and Bobby (Imelda). Brian is uncle to many nieces and nephews. In his profession as a police officer, he served in the London Police Services for 33 years. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street on Wednesday from 5-9 p.m. A Funeral Liturgy will be held at St. Peter's Cathedral Basilica, 196 Dufferin Avenue on Thursday morning March 28, 2013 at 11 a.m. Interment Woodland Cemetery. Prayers Wednesday afternoon at 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Memorial Boys and Girls Club, John Howard Society or St. Leonard's Community Services.
