Peacefully, Mary passed away with family at her side on January 10, 2025, in her 95th year.  Predeceased by her husband Donald Moir.  Loving Mother of the late Rose (Tony) Darmanin, Francie, late Marjorie Moir, late Don (Lorraine) Moir, Jacquie (Brian) Smith, Marilyn, Walt (Eden) Moir, Mike and Kevin.  Grandmother to Chris, Sarah, Emma, Andrew (Shlomi), Luke (Yael), Emily (Nick), Rebecca (Chad), Laura (Mike). Great grandmother of Charlotte, Josie, Nicholas and Maia.  

Mary is predeceased by her siblings and their spouses Rose (Hector) Landuyt, Sr. Thecla Martens, Joe (Caroline) Martens and Rene Martens.  

Mary was courageous, strong and unfailing in her faith.  Her love for her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren was never ending.  We were blessed to have had her as our Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. 

The family would like to thank the staff on Sugar Maple Wing at PeopleCare Oakcrossing for their excellent care and tireless dedication to Mary.  

Visitition will be held at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Tuesday, January 14 from 3-5 o'clock.  Prayers will be held at 3 o'clock.  Mass of Christain Burial wil be held at St. Michael's Church, 511 Cheapside Street, on Wednesday morning, January 15 at 11 o'clock.  Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery.  Donations to your local Food Bank would be appreciated.
