We wanted to send our condolences. We knew Gerry years ago through my sister Mary and her husband Tony (now deceased). We only met Gerry a few times, however he was as described in the obituary.
We want to send our thoughts and prayers to you all at this difficult time.

I did not have the pleasure of knowing Gerry, however, I knew Corry when they lived a couple houses down from us in Whitby.
Gerry sounds like he loved and lived life!

My brother-in-law. He was exactly as described in this obituary - optimistic, adventurous and warm. I remember especially his camaraderie and kindness when I was a young woman and he and Corry lived in the same apartment building as I did. I don't know how he put up with me! but the three of us spent much time together going for walks (he Dutchified it by calling it "loping"), shopping and drinking coffee at the City View restaurant. I will cherish those memories.
