Lisa De Ruiter and Martin Healy:
Our heartfelt condolences to Mary Margaret's family. We have just learned of her passing and are still in shock. We would often see MM in Wortley village and had the pleasure of numerous conversations over the years, initially bonding over our dogs. MM doted over her faithful companion, Riley, and I don't believe I ever saw them apart. MM was a staple in the village and she always took time to chat and ask about us. We will truly miss her!

Mary Marg was a special part of my life since I was a young child and continued to be throughout the different stages of my life. I was honoured to have her marry myself and husband and blessed both my children. She is still part of our life as my daughter cuddles her favourite blanket that she made us every night. She will be missed greatly by all who knew her. Suzanne and Kyle Belbeck and family

My dearest Aunt Mary;
This is written with a heavy heart. I remember when I was a little girl and we walked the grounds at the convent. I was so curious about your black long dress and if you were too hot. you smiled at me and told me that God was taking care of you. You winked at me and told me to put my hand in your pocket. oh my goodness I think that pocket went on forever. At the end of my search there was a wrapped candy and we both laughed at the discovered treasure.
I remember helping you set up your classroom.,we pinned up the ABC's chart and all these cool posters. I thought to myself how lucky the children were going to be to have you as a teacher. I wished that you could be my teacher.
I came back to London to help my parents when my dad had his Prostate surgery. I became very ill and ended up in the hospital. I was alone and in a lot of pain. I felt a warm hand on my hand and opened my eyes to my Guardian Angel, it was you.
You were amazing, always helping and caring for others. Your strength, compassion was a gift that made people feel calm . It is time my dear Aunt for you to rest, your jobs are done and you excelled brilliantly.
I believe that when our Lord calls us home he creates a star for all those that grieve. I know that I will easily spot you in the universe as yours will be the brightest.
You will not be forgotten as you are in my heart and I have our precious memories.
Love your Niece, Michelle

So sad to hear of Mary Margaret's sudden passing. Mary Margaret was my grade 4 teacher 55 years ago in Windsor. She was a fun, vibrant teacher who instilled a great desire to learn. There are great memories of her time at our school. I was fortunate to meet with her a few years ago, she was the same wonderful person that I had remembered. My sincere condolences to all that knew and loved her, she was a treasure. May she rest in Peace

Please accept my deepest condolences on Mary Margaret’s passing. Despite only meeting her in person twice I have heard my wife, Kristen Howard (her niece) talk about how wonderful, sharp witted, and kind her aunt was. She will be sorely missed but can assure that her legacy will live on for generations.
