Dear Vic:
It was with a saddened heart that I learned of Rosemary's passing, but then a smile came across my face as I reflected on the times shared back in nursing school and subsequent reunions of the 'Class of 73'. She was always jovial and positive despite her health challenges. A wonderful soul that will live on in the hearts of many forever! My deepest sympathies to you, your family & her many friends.

Vic, Drew and Phil:
We were very saddened to read today of Rosemary's passing. We remember the many fun times we had together, and how much she could make us laugh. She always spoke her mind, and you always knew where you stood with her. That was truly refreshing. We will always remember our trips to Buffalo with Vic and Rosemary. They were special times.
They broke the mould when Rosemary was born. She was one of a kind and will be truly missed.

Vic and family - so very saddened to learn of Rosemary's death. I was a grad of Hotel Dieu in Rosemary's class. She was always so much fun. Loved her antics at our nursing reunions. She always had that twinkle in her eye that made you know she was up to something. She was so proud of her boys and even prouder of her grandsons ( love the pic you chose) . She always had good things to say about Vic - her caregiver and angel on earth. She never complained about her health issues. She will be missed ! My sincere sympathies to all of you. Lynne Compton

Dear Vic and family, Rosemary was a true friend. Those of us who had the privilege of being a part of her life are truly blessed. You and her children / grandchildren were her life. Her keen sense of sincerity in others guided her enormous conpassion to speak up even if it wasn't popular. That's what I loved so much about her. My deepest regret is not keeping in touch. You were a beautiful team. Thank you for the fun times in your lives. Love, Kathy Collins L'Esperance

Vic and family, I was saddened to hear of Rosemary’s passing. It was always a pleasure to work with Rosemary in the OR at SJHC. She had a “take charge and confident manner”. I knew that with Rosemary at the helm ,we would manage any situation that we were faced with. She was the kind of nurse that you wanted around in an Emergency.
She was a proud advocate for the Registered Nursing profession. She was instrumental in the support of practice decisions affecting patient care in a positive way.
Rosemary had a big heart. The love for her family and friends was bounding. She opened her doors , hosting many events like the memorable “cabbage roll making extravaganza” to raise money for the OR education fund. Vic and Rosemary allowed us to invade their home, for weekends on end to complete our task.
She touched many , in her life. I for one, am a better person having had the opportunity to know and work with Rosemary.
Both Frank and I express our sincere condolences to the Soga families. Hold onto your fond memories and she will always be nearby. ❤️

I’m so sorry to hear about Rosemarys passing. I enjoyed working with her in the OR at SJHC. She had a caustic wit at times but really knew her ‘stuff’. She had quite a presence and I missed her when she retired.
Good bye, Rosemary❣️
