Obituary of Ida Regio

REGIO, Ida Peacefully at her home on August, 19th, 2020 in her 101st year. Beloved wife of the late Stefano Salvatore Regio (1993) of 50 years. Dear mother of Manuelita Marshall (Peter), Nadia Lay (Donald) and Diana Regio. Loving grandmother of Demitrius Marshall (Tina), Pilar Thomas (Malcolm), Jason Lay (Michelle), Sean Lay, Christopher Lay and Russell Lay. Adoring great grandmother of Vienna, Serenity, Kieran and Aidan. Special sister-in-law to Marcella Rijavec. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street on Sunday, August 23rd from 3 to 4, 7-7:45 and 8-9 o’clock. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Peter’s Cathedral Basilica, 196 Dufferin Avenue, on Monday, August 24th at 12 noon. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Due to COVID -19 restrictions as per the Bereavement Authority of Ontario a limited number of people are able to attend each visitation and service.
