I had the privilege of meeting Ida many years ago when she was a remarkable student in an art course I was teaching. Remarkable is an understatement as Ida was already a gifted painter, sculptor and creator of beautiful jewelry when we met. Over the years Ida and Diana kindly invited Kara, my children and myself to their home where I was always delighted to see Ida’s latest creations.
