Obituary of Jacqueline Marion Rutherford

RUTHERFORD, Jacqueline Marion – Passed away peacefully at L.H.S.C. University Hospital, on Friday, June 9, 2017, at the age of 86, Jacqueline Rutherford. Loving daughter of the late Mildred and Adam Rutherford. Dear sister of the late Joyce Rutherford. She leaves behind her dearly loved cousin Jeanette from California and her Goddaughter and friend Ina. Jacqueline graduated in 1952 from the University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She soon after began working at Victoria Hospital. In 1964 she took a leave of absence and travelled to Zambia where she worked for two years. She was a very caring soul and will be greatly missed. Visitors will be received at St. Peter’s Cathedral Basilica, 196 Dufferin Street, on Thursday, June 15, 2017 from 9 o’clock until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10 o’clock. Interment in Woodland Cemetery. If desired, donations made to the Arthritis Society or St. Peter's Cathedral Basilica Building Fund would be appreciated.
