We understand how difficult it is to lose a loved one. Our compassionate and caring team work hard each and every day to make sure that the members of our community and beyond are taken care of during such a difficult time. For advice on what to do when a loved one is dying, making funeral arrangements, pre-arranging your own funeral, or anything else, please feel free to contact us, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Manager and Funeral  Director

A licensed funeral director since 1992, John is the third generation in his family to serve his community with compassion and care. John has a keen awareness of how to soothe the uneasiness associated with funeral arrangements and how to share what may be most helpful to families dealing with the loss of a loved one. He and wife Lisa have a son William (Will). John realizes the importance of spending his most valuable asset… time, with his friends and his family.

Patrick Donohue
Preneed and Estates

Patrick Donohue graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 1994 with an Honours History Degree. Patrick came to work at the funeral home full time in 1995 and is the Pre-need sales director and aftercare counselor. Patrick enjoys the direct contact with client families and receives great satisfaction in helping them understand the significant benefits that come from pre-planning. Along with his wife Heather, Patrick is busy with three children Grace, Ryeland and Ava, and enjoys sports like golfing, tennis and baseball.


Margaret (Peggy) Bloomfield
Funeral Director

Margaret joined the family at Donohue Funeral Home in 1995 and received her Funeral Directors license in 1997. Margaret takes pride in her work and makes every possible effort to support and help people when they need it the most. She is known for her attention to detail and doing that ‘extra’ that makes a significant difference to families. Margaret’s patience, knowledge and awareness are appreciated by every family she works with. Margaret says her greatest achievement so far is being mom to her two wonderful boys.

Philippe G. Lauriault, CFSP
Funeral Director & Certified Funeral Celebrant

Philippe joined the family at Donohue Funeral Home in April 2015 and received his Funeral Director's license in 2009.  Philippe is a Certified Funeral Service Practitioner, accredited by the Academy of Profesional Funeral Service Practice, as well  as a Certified Funeral Celebrant.  Philippe has conducted many types of funeral and memorial services, and he values the privilege to create meaningful ceremonies for the families he serves.  Philippe is married to Marysa and they have 2 children.  He is active in the community, both as Charter Grand Knight of Knights of Columbus Council 16418 and a member of Assembly 1531.

Funeral Director

Marti joined the family at Donohue Funeral Home in 2012 and received her funeral directors license in 2013.


Roberta MacNeil
Funeral Director

Roberta received her funeral directors license in 2013 and joined the Donohue Funeral Home in 2014.
