Andrew Dandeno

October 24, 1952 – August 31, 2023

With sadness the family announces the passing of Andrew Dandeno,   at home in London Ontario. Andrew is predeceased by his parents Fred and Merion Dandeno, as well  his sister Mairi Bright. He is survived by his children Carlie in London Ontario, Jason (Robyn) grandchildren Isla, Etta, Jasper and Clementine all of England; Siblings Sister Ursula of the Order of the Precious Blood Sisters; Kathleen (Henry); Mark; Anne (Paul); (all in Ontario) and Deirdre (Ray) New Jersey USA.  Andrew will be remembered and missed by his many nieces and nephews in Canada and the United States.

Andrew enjoyed music; singing in the Church Choir, playing the trombone in Big Mac’s Band and later playing in Encore the Concert Band as well as other bands.  He also taught music to mature students at the University of Western Ontario. He enjoyed sports playing slo-pitch, hockey and golf.  Astronomy was another of Andrew’s passions. 

Andrew worked at Canada Post Corporation, in London Ontario, until his retirement.

There will not be a visitation; however, friends and family may leave their Condolences and best wishes to the family on the Donohue’s web site.  Should you feel inclined, in lieu of flowers, a donation in Andrew’s name to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

Final arrangements are being handled by Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street, London Ontario.  A private family Inurnment will take place at Oakland Cemetery on 390 Oxford Street. W, London Ontario.
