Obituary of Richard Fischer

Fischer At London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Campus on Monday April 5, 1999 Dr. Richard M. dear husband of the late Lydia (Angelini) Fischer in his 86th year. Dear father of Yaga McInnes and her husband Jim of London, Susan Fischer of New York, and Lori Von Anrep (predeceased 1993). Dear grandfather of Nick, Katie, and James McInnes, Ashley, Amelia, and Ariana Von Anrep. Dear uncle of Margaret Sharzer and Peter Lancucki. Brother in law of Giovanni Angelini and family. Dr. Fischer was a specialist in internal medicine, graduating from the University of Bologna, Italy in 1953. A member of the College of Physcians and Surgeons of Ontario (1958). A specialist in family medicine (1973) , an instructor in family medicine at the University of Western Ontario (1974). He was an accomplished musician and a member of the string quartet and served the Italian community from 1958. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo St., at King St., on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass at St. Peter's Basilica, 196 Dufferin Ave., on Thursday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Wednesday evening at 7:30 o'clock. Donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
