I didn't know Brian outside of the gym, but he and I spoke anywhere from 3-5 times a week at GoodLife for about the past year or so. I got to know him fairly well; he was truly a wonderful person and such a sincere, genuine character. I was shocked to see his obituary appear on a friend of mine's facebook feed... the last time I spoke with him was just a few days ago. I couldn't have imagined that we would lose him so soon. He will be truly missed and I pass on my deepest condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones. We'll miss you, Brian!

Brian’s quick wit and optimism jumped out at me from the moment I first met him. The more I got to know him over the years, the more I saw how big-hearted, loving and genuine he was. His love for his family was so evident and admirable. I am lucky to have known him. My heart goes out to you and I am here for you always.

Every year at Pepito's work they have an employee sale and he had no idea how was getting home with all the items. And boy or boy he had lots. So I, Michael, (Nancy's brother btw) called Nancy to see if she could pick up the stuff, but she had to work. So she said Brian wasn't working and she would check with him. Brian, who didn't know Pepito that well at the time, said no problem. He really went out of his way to help. The employee sale was near the airport, really out of his way, but Brian was right on time. Didn't complain once, even helping us load and unload the stuff.
Another thing about Brian is he always showed a sincere appreciation. We gave a gift one time and he was so thankful. I will always remember that.
We will miss you Brian..........

To Brian, I have been overwhelmed by the strength and love of your family as they face your passing. These past few days have allowed me reminisce and be thankful for the times we shared. You and your wife Nancy brought me into your home and made me feel like it was my own. I will always remember our dinners and the laughs we shared. Your mom has treated me like family and granted me the opportunity of feeling the love of a grandparent, which is something I never thought I would experience. You gave me your blessing to date your daughter, the person who I love and adore most. My only hope is to take care of her in a way that is worthy of a fathers approval.
