Obituary of John Hoevenaars

Hoevenaars, Johannas (John) John passed away peacefully with his family by his side at University Hospital on October 4, 2015. Born on October 19, 1924 in Marieheiden The Netherlands. John enjoyed his long retirement. John is survived by his loving wife Tonie of almost 62 years. Survived by 1 sister and 1 brother in The Netherlands. Loving father to Paul (Christi) and Diana (Bill) Farwell. Opa to Heather (Keith) Noble, Michael, Julie-Anne (Jaymar) Bulk, Sean, Jesse, and Patrice. Great Opa of 4 ¾ great grandchildren. Special thanks to Father Matthew Elamplakatt Chaplin at University Hospital. Special thanks to the nursing staff on 10th floor for taking special care of our Dad & husband. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Tuesday afternoon, October 6th from 2-4 o'clock. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Michael's Church, 511 Cheapside Street, on Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock. Interment in St. Peter's Cemetery. Prayers Tuesday afternoon at 4 o'clock.
