Obituary of Nancy van den Boogaart

Peacefully at LHSC University Hospital on Friday, September 25, 2015 Nancy van den Boogaart in her 87th year. Beloved wife and best friend of Peter van den Boogaart for 62 years. Loving mother of Adrian (Rita) van den Boogaart of London, Conroy van den Boogaart of Toronto, and Jack (Lynda) van den Boogaart of Oakland, Michigan. Proud Oma of Angela, Jon (Daniela), Jason, Michael and Ryan van den Boogaart and great Oma of Luca. Nancy was born in Gilze, The Netherlands, one of eleven children and immigrated to Canada in 1953. Aunt Nancy will be fondly remembered by her three nieces and one nephew in Ottawa and her extended family in The Netherlands. The family would like to thank the Palliative Care and Sub Acute Unit of University Hospital for their excellent and loving care. Special thanks also to the PSW team from Community Care Access Centre for their exceptional support and care. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 o'clock. Funeral Mass will be held at Christ the King University Parish, 1486 Richmond Street North on Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock. Cremation with interment in St. Peter's Cemetery at a later date. Prayers Tuesday evening at 8 o'clock. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sub Acute Medicine/Palliative Care Unit University Hospital c/o London Health Sciences Foundation.
