Obituary of Madeline Walker

Walker Madeline At People Care Nursing Home, Tavistock on Saturday, September 12th, 2015 Madeline Walker (nee Villani) was peacefully set free. Beloved wife of the late Ken Walker (1994). Treasured mother of Jennifer Polzin (Harold) and Rosemary Hart. Loved Nonna of Andrea (Bryan), Brent (Amanda), Scott and Abbey. Super Nonna of Miles, Sophia, Emma and Brady. Aunt Madeline will be sadly missed by her numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her parents Antoinette and Vincenzo Villani. Madeline was the last of the Villani sisters, she is predeceased by her sisters Mary, Frances, Antoinette, Jenny and Nina. Madeline valued her friendships, she was known for her kind smile and gentle nature, she liked a "nice" cup of tea, loved a good sale especially at Macy's, loved spending her winters in Florida, she loved Lefty's chicken wings, she also loved people watching at the Hard Rock Casino and on Hollywood Beach. A heartfelt thank you to the D wing angels at People Care for treating mom with dignity and respect. Visitors will be received at the John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street, London, on Wednesday, September 16th from 7-9 o'clock and on Thursday, September 17th from 11 o'clock until the time of the Funeral Service at 12 noon. Entombment to follow in Holy Family Mausoleum - St. Peter's Cemetery. If one should choose to remember Madeline, she loved flowers, would appreciate a random act of kindness or a donation to one's favorite charity. "Good night, God bless, I love you, you're special"
