Obituary of Julia Eugenia Alane Trumpickas

Trumpickas, Julia Eugenija Alane August 29th, 2015 - Julia came into our lives 9 months ago. She changed us more than we could ever have expected. We got to know each-other well, and quickly learned that she was boss. She loved watermelon, dancing, storytime, swimming, sleeping in, and staying up late. She enjoyed Tevukas’ Leonard Cohen records, Nannu’s cooking, and tummytime games with her Daddy, Nana, Mociute, and her uncles, and aunt. She did not like long car rides or captain crunch cereal. She taught us to be a family. She will be desperately missed by her loving parents Simonas and Katrina Trumpickas (nee Bellia), her grandparents Joe & De-Ann Bellia and Jonas & Dalia Trumpickas, her Uncles Justin Trumpickas, Mattew (Kirsten) Bellia, Jonathan Bellia, Aunt Vanessa (George) Trumpickas, pro-Mociute Eugenija Grajauskas, Great Grandparents David & Trudy Drinkwalter, and Nana Sandy Drinkwalter. She was not here for long but her love will be with us forever. We know she has been met in heaven by our loved ones and will be well cared for until we can all be together again. Katie and Simon would like to thank Dr. Hamm, Cathy, Darby, Tammy, and all of the wonderful staff at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital. Their care and love helped us greatly in our time of sorrow. Visitors will be received at WINDEMERE ON THE MOUNT CHAPEL, 1486 Richmond St., London, on Saturday, September 5th, 2015, from 9-10AM, followed by Funeral Mass at 10AM. Burial at St. Peter’s Cemetery, London. There will be a reception back at the Mount after the burial. In lieu of flowers the family would greatly appreciate donations made in Julia’s name to the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital Mother and Baby Unit.
