Obituary of Rodolfo Bernardin

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rodolfo Bernardin, at LHSC-University Hospital on Saturday, August 29, 2015, in his 87th year. Beloved husband of Emma (nee Politti). Loving father of Vincenza and her husband Blair Belanger. Adored Nonno of Christopher. Zio of Claudio (Mary Ann) China and their children Dominique, Marco and Matthew, Michelle Schuster and her son Michael, and Alida Zuliani and family in Belgium. Rodolfo will be sadly missed by his cousins in Italy. Predeceased by his brothers Antonio (Josephine) and Attilio (Adele) and sister-in-law Giuseppina and Giovanni China. Thank you to Dr. Xenocostas and his team for the excellent care provided through the years, as well as to Dr. Sharon Koivu, Lynne Hughes Marsh, the palliative care team and to the 6th floor Acute Medicine for the excellent care and compassion they provided. Visitors will be received at John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street at King Street, on Monday, August 31, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church, 345 Lyle Street, London, on Tuesday at 11 am. Entombment at Holy Family Mausoleum, St. Peter's Cemetery, London. Prayers Monday afternoon at 3 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the London Health Sciences Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
